Two brothers, one sofa
MeetPotatoandHash
Same family, same wrinkles, completely different approach to being a dog. Here is exactly who you are dealing with.

Placeholder photoOne greets the whole room. One picks his people.
The sociable one
Potato
Crosses the room to say hello. Commits by leaning.
Potato meets people. That is more or less his entire position on the subject. He will cross a room to reach a new visitor, decide the two of them are already friends, and then lean his entire body weight against their legs.
He is a professional napper, a committed snack enthusiast, and a firm believer that any food being eaten nearby is, technically, a shared meal.
Known behaviours
- Sits down in the exact middle of everything
- Assumes every visitor is here for him
- Has strong feelings about the sofa

Placeholder photoThe thoughtful one
Hash
Hash is in no hurry to cross the room. He would rather watch a while, take the measure of a new visitor, and decide in his own time whether this is somebody worth getting up for. He is very rarely wrong.
Once he has decided you are his, he is entirely yours: leaning, sighing, upside down on the sofa. He just does not see why a stranger needs to know that about him.
Known behaviours
- Thinks first, then thinks again
- Sighs like a much older gentleman
- Considers the vacuum a personal enemy

Two dogs, one sofa, no agreement
Apart they are two very different dogs. Together they are a comedy duo who have never once agreed on where to sit.
